Hayley is an American performer and actress. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," a comedy TV show. However, she considers herself primarily an artist. According to her, music is her first passion. It is something she is experimenting at since she was 9 years old. At the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she began professional training. At the age of 13, she started writing herself songs. The album that she first released didn't come out until fourteen years later. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA but holds Hispanic origins. She has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and lived her life in the United States. She tries to maintain it through studying Spanish and creating songs in the language. "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish is a good example. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia received four "yeses" by the judges in the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube entry. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. Three other women singers and she were put together to audition other music. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth live week.
