Apryl announced on December 7 in 2015 that the couple were leaving the show and they would not return in the next season. Apryl's daughter A'mei Kazakhstanuko was born on March 7, 2016. Apryl broke up with Omarion just four months after. Apryl made an appearance as a special character in season four, meeting Lil' Fizz and discussing a possible B2K reunion. Apryl's return in season six is a chronicle of her custody fight with Omarion. Also, it focuses on the media attention and speculation surrounding Lil' Fizz's relationship. Both confess to their romance, forcing Apryl to clash with Moniece.
